@jimmy9065: Please familiarize with pacman. It's your best friend. "pacman -Ql tpacpi-bat | grep service" would have shown you the service files provided by this package

jimmy9065 commented on 2017-02-26 03:57

It works on my T460s
I'm not sure if this package has the service file, but I went to github to download the service file and copy it to /usr/lib/systemd/system/ and enable that service. The conf file already existed in the /etc/conf.d.

3.1-1: "install: cannot stat 'tpacpi.service': No such file or directory"

Looks like the service(s) can now be found in the examples directory.

Does this work with Thinkpad T450s?

Having the same issue as @erikw and @eisen. Doesn't seem to work?

erikw commented on 2015-01-26 22:42

eisen's problem is still present!

FYI, I discovered the following error when using the -v switch:

Use of uninitialized value $aslBase in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/bin/tpacpi-bat line 401.
Call : . BCCS 0x11e
Response: 0x0called
Use of uninitialized value $aslBase in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/bin/tpacpi-bat line 401.
Call : . BCSS 0x163
Response: 0x0called

Initializing $aslBase to a null produced the following:

Call : .BCCS 0x11e
Response: 0x0called
Call : .BCSS 0x163
Response: 0x0called

@asch if you're still too busy to maintain this, I'd be happy to take over.

I'll fix whole package in a week. I'm too busy right now!
