As there are several (38) packages that depend on this package, I think it's too risky to revert. I would recommend a fork.

Would be nice if you would revert to install just the all-the-icons-font. Installing them all in one is dirty since you have to update this package any of the other fonts gets updates plus you need the all the icons font.

Also, the install script is unnecessary and breaks without some of these dependencies, so I suggest removing it too.

All these dependencies are unnecessary. I've verified that other fonts typically have no dependencies. The xorg dependencies are especially annoying since I don't use X and don't want to install a bunch of useless packages.
