Font cache updating is done via a pacman hook now. I think you can drop the install file and all the dependencies. And git is a makedepends, not depends.

The PKGBUILD does a few things wrong. Can you just replace it with the following? https://gist.github.com/029020939b53b1bbda5e

Can you please make arch='any' instead. As it is only using common utilities available on all architectures and it is a font. Tested on armv6h and armv7 to work fine.
