I've created a package that builds from source if anyone is interested: tutanota-desktop.

@HeinzDo1961: Try /opt/tutanota-desktop/tutanota-desktop --no-sandbox "$@"

The error message was: ../../sandbox/linux/seccomp-bpf-helpers/sigsys_handlers.cc:CRASHING:seccomp-bpf failure in syscall 0230

Oh, sorry. I had completely forgotten this here. It is probably a glibc problem that the chromium has. This will be fixed by the Tutanota team in the next few days by updating to electron 8.0.

@HeinzDo1961: What is the output when you run tutanota-desktop from the terminal? Please post the result on a pastebin service and link it here.

Am i the only one in which Tutanota constantly crashes? I have now uninstalled tutanota. It keeps crashing and then restarting. And in an endless loop.

@ajgraves: Thanks, I removed that line by accident.

@yochananmarqos awesome man! I didn't even look there obviously.

@ajgraves: I found it. I was in the package.json the whole time, duh. I pushed an update that should take care of it.

@yochananmarqos if you extract app.asar it should be in src/desktop/ElectronUpdater.js (I believe)
