Am i the only one in which Tutanota constantly crashes? I have now uninstalled tutanota. It keeps crashing and then restarting. And in an endless loop.

@yochananmarqos if you extract app.asar it should be in src/desktop/ElectronUpdater.js (I believe)

@HeinzDo1961 this would need to be reported to upstream at https://github.com/tutao/tutanota/issues. One thing you might try is make sure your system is entirely up to date, and then remove and reinstall the package just for good measure.

@kainonergon: I was able to reproduce it. I don't think it will be possible to completely disable the update check without modifying the source code. I unpacked the
app.asar

indeed givespublishAutoUpdate: false

grep Update /opt/tutanota-desktop/resources/app-update.yml
and see what the output is? It should saypublishAutoUpdate: false
