Please don't abuse the "Flag package out-of-date" function to report bugs, please use the comment function as intended.

When the "Flag package out-of-date" will be abused to report a bug, I will unflag it and wait, that the bug will be reported as comment. If you don't want to report a bug as comment, please feel free to contact me directly via e-mail. Unflagging doesn't mean that I'm "implied refusal to correct".

Also, filling out an "Orphan Request" more or less directly after I unflagged it, isn't fair. I don't always have the time to take care of it straight away. So, please give me time.

Okay, -3 is "working". I will try to fix it correctly. Currently, you have to do a sudo dkms install -m tuxedo-drivers/4.0.0 --force after the installation

Sorry for the inconvenience

@StevenSeifried Let me know if you need help/inputs. I have been looking around /var/lib/dkms/tuxedo-drivers/4.0.0/build but I found nothing really relevant to pin point the issue

@yochananmarqos I tried uncommenting that line and reinstalling the package, but it didn't really change anything noticeable

@yochananmarqos i try to figure out, why the dkms install fails. AUTOINSTALL=yes will be not commented out in the fixed version

yochananmarqos commented on 2023-12-12 16:33 (UTC)

@StevenSeifried: Is AUTOINSTALL="yes" supposed to be commented out in the dkms.conf? It wasn't before.

Same issue with -2 as well. Do you need any additional info?

FuzzyAtish commented on 2023-12-12 16:25 (UTC)

Sorry, it's -1, let me upgrade to -2 quickly

StevenSeifried commented on 2023-12-12 16:21 (UTC)

@FuzzyAtish are you using 4.0.0-1 or 4.0.0-2?
