@buzz Ok, FYI I recompiled the schemas and I can authorize the app, but then I get a popup saying:

Failed to open URI "twitch-tray-icon-app://-authorize#access_token=xxxxxxxxxxxx&scope=xxxxxxx&state=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&token_type=bearer" The specified location is not supported

I'm on Manjaro XFCE.

I recently added support for the new Twitch API in twitch-indicator. Everything works but I didn't have time to update the PKGBUILD yet.

Please stand by...

Getting:

ln: failed to create symbolic link 'twitch-indicator': File exists
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
Aborting.

I edited the PKGBUILD, removed the ln, it installs but it doesn't run, getting:

(twitch-indicator:28769): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 15:48:48.241: Settings schema 'apps.twitch-indicator' is not installed

Not sure. Your guess is as good as mine.

EDIT: now it is back online, YAY! Don't know why pkgver fails though, since nothing has changed from the last time i built it

FINAL EDIT: deleted the pkgver function, everything works fine.

That fixed it. Thanks!

I added libappindicator-gtk3 as a required dependency. Also, created a symlink that should fix the desktop launcher.

Extremeadin commented on 2018-01-17 02:56 (UTC)

The desktop launcher doesn't seem to work for me. Also, when I launch it from the command line, I get notifications but no icon in the system tray (I'm using Mate desktop). I think there may be an additional dependency I am missing.

libappindicator-gtk3 dependency is missing.
