@xiota thats a good point, and wine-staging provides wine, so dep on wine should allow people to choose either wine, wine-staging, or wine-wow64.

I have updated the PKGBUILD.

@roukoswarf Thanks for the explanation. The issue came up in discussion about what provides wine-staging-wow64 should have. In principle, only wine should be needed, but packages depending on wine-staging and wine-wow64 add complication. Do you have any thoughts about the issue?

@xiota It's hopefully the closest to the proton version of wine that the average linux user would be running the game using, and hopefully the most likely to include the latest fixes for unity engine games, minus any proton specific hacks.

I could change it to depend on wine or wine-staging and let someone pick at install, but I figured most people trying to get games running would be okay with a staging dep, versus depending on proton off the aur, which would be much more work to maintain for the user.

Since steamcmd always builds the latest version, I haven't needed to update the PKGBUILD, but I'll probably make the wine dep wine OR wine-staging when the next big patch happens.

Why does this package depend on wine-staging instead of wine?

@KarelvdP The install would still work as intended, the error doesn't actually stop the install, unlike what the language indicates.

I made tmpfiles.d more specific to make the permissions more consistent, shouldnt have any unintended consequences, the vrising user no longer has ownership of /opt/vrising-server, and the dirs the gameserver does create, are pre-made now.

Thanks for the report.

Got

(4/9) Creating temporary files... Detected unsafe path transition /opt/vrising-server (owned by vrising) → /opt/vrising-server/ServerData (owned by root) during canonicalization of /opt/vrising-server/ServerData. Detected unsafe path transition /opt/vrising-server (owned by vrising) → /opt/vrising-server/ServerData (owned by root) during canonicalization of /opt/vrising-server/ServerData. error: command failed to execute correctly

On my system. Not sure which side the problem is on, PKGBUILD or my system.

EDIT: Solved by update from roukoswarf, thanks!
