After some tinkering around, I found that the segfault problem could be solved by chown.

chown :users /usr/bin/whatpulse

Please include it in the PKGBUILD or something.

The package core dumps. Running the AppImage from the build directory works...

Seems like the download url should be https://releases.whatpulse.org/latest/linux/whatpulse-linux-latest_amd64.AppImage now. The previous url still contains version 5.1

I've been wondering if anybody else is having issues with WhatPulse? After it runs for a couple of hours it freezes and afterwards starts to memory leak.

This has been an issue for me for a long time, so nothing new... And I haven't noticed this issue when running the AppImage directly, but I like to use the AUR package because it allows for network capture.

Please check the dependencies of the new version, it seems to have switched to qt6. I was missing qt6-charts and qt6-5compat from my system (but there are likely more qt6 dependencies that I already had installed).

To solve it, you need to run as root (sudo) or setup input permissions.
