Uh, not great. I didn't encounter any problem when I played with 1.3.1 a bit on Sunday. Was that triggered by doing something in particular? If you haven't tweaked things, you should see a backtrace from systemd-coredump in journalctl.

xnviewmp
package doesn't have such error.Corax commented on 2022-09-26 19:22 (UTC)
@jouven: interesting, I have no idea what could really cause this but glad that using the system libs is solving that problem too :D

Just to comment I was using https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xnviewmp and the enter key wasn't working, see https://forum.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=43910&sid=fbc591f605849443c1d7d6d5c0ca60db but with this one it works.

@Corax: thanks. I am still learning here. Your maintenance of this package is very much appreciated.

@jrichard326: because the whole point of this package is to use system libraries :) The few libraries that are copied from the tarball are those for which there is no straightforward alternative.

libc++ is already in the .tgz package so why not
libc++
install -D -m644 "lib/libc++.so.1" -t "${pkg_opt_dir}/lib"
in PKGBUILD?

Right sorry guys I already had libc++ installed so didn't realise the implicit dependency, should be better now.
