Thanks for the comments. I've changed it to provide just the stable 0.3.1 release. If it sees any updates in the future I may also add xrectsel-git but it hasn't been touched in a year.

Since this package looks like it's supposed to provide stable releases, you should pull the sources from https://github.com/lolilolicon/xrectsel/archive/$pkgver.tar.gz !!! Also, the version of the current release is 0.3.1, not 1.0! So there are two options for you as far as I can see: 1. You provide both xrectsel and xrectsel-git and use the appropriate source for the package. 2. You provide only this package, but then use the above link as source and remove git from makedepends.
