Ah I see what you mean. I hadn't noticed any development co-dependencies in releases of xviewer and xviewer-plugins, but that's not to say it couldn't happen. Flagging the package out of date is always welcome; I try to keep on top of updates but find it easier to miss new releases as this particular package adds tags without any accompanying github release which would trigger a notification action.

@ion203: A comment it was indeed, sorry if it did not suffice.

My point was when upstream updates both xviewer and xviewer-plugins, then they both should be updated. Users have been missing that "single bugfix" for several months.

@yochananmarqos a comment would suffice. This package has received only a single bugfix commit and zero feature commits since v1.4.3 from 3 years ago, so it's not like users are clamoring for an update.

"Both packages need to be updated to match", not sure I understand what you mean by this. That pkgrel should be bumped when xviewer is updated? Though I happen to still have a version of "xviewer-plugins-1.4.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst" from 2022, and it appears to load fine -- aside from libpython3loader having been removed from libpeas, which breaks half the plugins.

@ion203: Wow... 8 months after the 3.4.1 tag, the package was updated today. I see you also maintain xviewer. Both packages need to be updated to match, otherwise folks using Cinnamon may have issues with mismatched packages.

Would you like someone to help out with maintaining the packages?

Could you please change the license field from GPL to GPL-2.0-or-later to clarify the license of the package?

Thanks for the note, I missed this because xviewer already had that make dependency. The package has been updated.

Couldn't build without gobject-instrospection packaged installed. Tested only on armv7h. Could you add it to makedepends?

it is safe to add arch armv7h in PKGBUILD
