@yochananmarqos: Interesting, for me it's the default Wayland icon on KDE Plasma. I'll open an issue on their GitHub as well

@Damgaldor: The desktop file shipped by upstream in the DEB is also named youtube-music.desktop. The icon appears for me using Alt+Tab on GNOME using Wayland.

@yochananmarqos Kiiinda. Changing StartupWMClass does fix panel icon, but doesn't fix Alt+Tab icon (renaming the desktop file does), so ideally both should be changes.

Desktop file name should be changed to com.github.th_ch.youtube_music to fix Wayland icon https://github.com/th-ch/youtube-music/issues/2687

@icarusflies: Upstream is working on updating to PNPM v9. In the meantime, you can install youtube-music-bin.

and on launching this, the console output also says version 1.0.8
