This is currently broken, it installs the downloaded .tar.gz as a purported executable to /usr/bin

pnpm-bin is not a duplicate package of pnpm, it gives you another option. It gives you an alternative that doesn't force you to rely on nodejs, and allows you to manage multiple versions of your nodejs environment on your own, either through the pnpm env, or in some other way.
