Thanks @micwoj92. I updated the homepage to the generic Brother support since they don’t like deep linking and upgraded the download sources to use HTTPS.

@zenlord I don't have the printer at hand but I made some modifications to the way the install is handled and added a few missing deps. Please test.

The PKGBUILD needs corrections: * the url to the filter needs to be entered (can be found on Github) * the install commands need to install in /usr/... and not in $startdir/... After making these changes, the printer still doesn't work for me, but at least it's not complaining anymore :-)

This package does not work for me: According to the PKGBUILD, it should install files into /usr/share/cups/model and /usr/lib/cups/filter, but those files are never installed and still the install exits without and error.
