@azleifel - can you make this a split package providing both handbrake-svn and handbrake-svn-cli to mirror the structure of the official packages in [extra]? http://repos.archlinux.org/wsvn/packages/handbrake/repos/extra-x86_64/PKGBUILD I took a stab at a split PKGBUILD based on your recent one: http://pastebin.com/EUau9b1p

Thank you!

* Refreshed PKGBUILD * Updated dependencies * Added --disable-gtk-update-checks configure switch

It's a bit of a nightmare but I'll take it if you don't want to maintain it any more.

azleifel, you seem to be very interested in this package, and your patches and contributions are always valuable. So, do you want to take over this package?

azleifel commented on 2010-11-06 09:15 (UTC)

The PKGBUILD I'm using locally (http://pastebin.com/bCL1KxWj) doesn't depend on texlive-core and builds without problem. I've added a gstreamer dependency, which is required, and removed the dependency on libwebkit by using the "disable-gtk-update-checks" configure switch. (The "enable-ff-mpeg2" configure switch is an option I'm evaluating at the moment.)

Why is texlive-core a makedepend? I built it fine without texlive and saved 300mb. http://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/CompileOnLinux

Done, thanks.

Nice azleifel - can you add that StefanHusmann. I can't be the only person with a noexec line...

azleifel commented on 2010-11-04 19:23 (UTC)

I've had # ffmpeg needs a temporary directory without noexec set [ -d ${srcdir}/tmp ] && rm -rf ${srcdir}/tmp install -d -m755 ${srcdir}/tmp and TMPDIR=${srcdir}/tmp make in my local PKGBUILD ever since I set /tmp noexec.
