Hi UKSM have two patches: fixed some freeze problem and libc carsh issue. http://kerneldedup.org/download/uksm/0.1.1/patches/vanilla/0001-UKSM-let-the-default-uksm_sleep_jiffies-10-msecs.patch http://kerneldedup.org/download/uksm/0.1.1/patches/vanilla/0002-UKSM-Fix-a-libc-crash-introduced-by-uksm-zero-pfn.patch

@Val - you sure about that? Here is linux-ck-kx from the repo, clearly the bfq is NOT enabled: $ uname -r 3.3.4-3-ck $ cat /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler noop deadline [cfq] bfq

ValdikSS commented on 2012-05-03 19:40 (UTC)

bfq_enable is not used. Even if it's set to n, bfq patch applies and bfq sets as a default scheduler

Probably worth a(nother) bump when binutils 2.22-7 leaves testing.

@Lawliet - what do you packages offer than linux-ck doesn't?

I noticed Lawliet's packages have this patch too: http://kerneldedup.org/download/uksm/0.1.1/patches/vanilla/0001-UKSM-let-the-default-uksm_sleep_jiffies-10-msecs.patch I'm just wondering what does it do for UKSM?

hi graysky my two packages(linux-uksm, linux-uksm-ck), the pkgbuild file adapted from your pkgbuild.

Why out of date? Figo-since this patch set is optional, I do not modify the configs but instead allow the patchset itself to do that. Users will be prompted with the option after patching when the 'make prepare' step runs.
