For VCS packages (the package name ending with
-git,-svn) that won't build you can just flag it outdated and provide comments when doing so. Leaving comments here is fine either, just don't do it both. Personally I would prefer the first way.I've updated it. BTW, I have my own common set of directives for maintaining a package, so I usually don't take patches. However pointing the correct direction does help immensely. Thanks!

Hey @Chocobo1, I noticed that this is a bit out of date. I'm new to suggesting changes, so I don't know if there's a proper way for offering PRs for this; I've made the needed changes to get this building with the current codebase in a fork of the PKGBUILD here: https://github.com/patchcodes/pkgbuild/blob/6df5e2c3c4b0b7191d22082bca70350ce4317a78/pv/PKGBUILD
