Nope, will be supported in 6.1 or 6.2 according to jackoneill I'd switch to LTS kernel in the meantim

Good news! kelebek333 updated the repo.
Also starting with Linux 6.1 or 6.2 the rtl8xxxu driver will support the RTL8188FU chip. It has station mode only, though.

Oh cool! I definitely do have the hardware, I just have to identify which one it is (I need to label my wifi dongles by driver name). I can test it out. I'll probably switch the upstream even if it doesn't work as long as you're accepting patches - the kelebek333 fork is broken as of 5.19.2 anyway

Hi, I am one of the mod at SG and is the one who created this fork. Please remember that although it can be compiled for higher kernel like 5.19/6.0 I haven't tried the driver yet because I don't have the hardware. I created the fork to add support for Android-x86/BlissOS, the "android" branch is actually for a Kernel 5.15.x, but this kernel got patches from Google so they backported some code from mainline linux to it. Which is why I am not recommend people to compile this branch and use "master" branch instead.

As @rogeriotds and others have noted, driver for this card is available in-kernel as of 6.2

Created https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/8188fu-supremegamers-dkms-git for the other fork. Sounds like this is the only option for 6.0 and 6.1 kernels at the moment
