If packages require that and aren't building against the 'linux' package, they're poorly packaged and should be fixed there, not hacked around here.

At one time there was a need to have the linux-ck-headers package provide linux-headers. Thought it had to do with other packages requiring for actual linux-headers package which is wrong if a user is running linux-ck not linux.

See the previous link, this should not be providing linux-headers. Packages saying they provide themselves makes no sense, either.

@Scimmia - Context? "Fixed?"

Scimmia commented on 2021-01-01 13:22 (UTC)

3 updates and the provides has not been fixed. Is there a problem, graysky?

@nTia89 - My bad. Order of events in the PKGBUILD matter. Fixed in 5.9.1-2

Since last update, there is no more the interactive micro-architecture selection before compilation. Does anyone have the same issue?
