Added version to the name of the file to be downloaded. You don't need to delete the cache in the future.

@wizonesolutions thanks for the explanation!

@hnron pls fix this?

@ZauberParacelsus See my comment below

Delete the pre-downloaded file. The problem is that this PKGBUILD doesn't version its source files, so it doesn't actually re-download it if it already has before. You have to delete the cached version of the file each time. @hnron it'd be good to fix this somehow.

The new PKGBUILD doesn't work, it fails the source validation check

@Kunda depends on if you're using an AUR helper. I use Yay, and it's at ~/.cache/yay/atomic-tweetdeck

Kunda commented on 2020-12-18 20:20 (UTC)

@wizonesolutions how do I find the cache directory ?

wizonesolutions commented on 2020-07-03 09:49 (UTC) (edited on 2020-07-03 09:50 (UTC) by wizonesolutions)

EDIT: resolved by cd'ing into the cache directory and deleting the file that was failing, so it got re-downloaded

There seems to be an issue where I can only run this once per desktop session.

On the second run, nothing happens.

Running from the terminal gives:

 ~  atomic-tweetdeck                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                13:26:14
(electron) 'getName function' is deprecated and will be removed. Please use 'name property' instead.

So no clear reason for failure, but also no window.
