Thank you for still maintaining it.

python-sgmllib was replaced by now. The dependencies of Aurman are fixed again :D

navarroaxel commented on 2021-10-19 16:07

python-sgmllib use to be part of the "extra" packages. I don't why it was deleted. I installed my laptop 2 days ago and that package was installed.

Needs python-sgmllib3k as dependency.

xantares commented on 2021-06-04 14:45

Seems it needs setuptools as makedepends:

==> Starting package()... Traceback (most recent call last): File "/tmp/aurman/src/aurman_sources/", line 9, in <module> from setuptools import setup, find_packages

No, the warning message comes from the python-requests package. See

dimich commented on 2019-05-12 22:17

Few days ago i noticed aurman started to display warning message:

/usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages/requests/ RequestsDependencyWarning: urllib3 (1.25.2) or chardet (3.0.4) doesn't match a supported version! RequestsDependencyWarning)

It seems still work fine for now, but could this warning lead to an error in the future?

they are not, you simply have no idea what you are talking about

codeworkx, as a person who maintains several packages yourself I'm rather terrified that you don't understand the basic rules of makepkg.

Namely, it is absolutely forbidden to run makepkg without the base-devel group installed, and it is therefore incorrect to ever have base-devel packages as a makedepends. This is documented from the very beginning on the wiki page for the AUR, which is linked from the homepage of the AUR.

Moreover as fakeroot is not required by this package, but is required simply in order to run makepkg itself, this suggestion is utterly inappropriate.

Don't do this again.
