argh put $pkgname instead of $pkgdir for the intelbastion wrapper... sorry folks, should just need to run makepkg -R to repackage as the only thing changing is in the package() function, unless you deleted src

@itti, sorry, I thought I removed all of that I was usingthat to test my other variables since I have x86_64

what is with the CARCH stuff? why is there a hardcoded "export CARCH=i686" in the PKGBUILD? this gives "the package has no valid architecture" if I try to install it.

Could you add wrapper on the executable file to set force_s3tc_enable=true environment variable? If fixes the "black screen" issue of people using Intel or OSS Radeon drivers.

Adding bastion.desktop would be nice: http://pastebin.com/HCLvFrcn And then add in package(): install -D -m644 "${srcdir}/${pkgname}.desktop" \ "${pkgdir}/usr/share/applications/${pkgname}.desktop"

ok, I think everything works now, can someone using an i686 machine please comment and report?

right now it appears the this pkgbuild is working fine for 64 bit systems + multilib and I am currently working on testing it to work with a 32bit system

are you sure that it is !cache and not !ccache?

Also, - The installed /usr/bin/bastion is symlink to "/usr/share/games/bastion/Bastion.bin.", I fixed it by replacing lines "i686) _arch=x86 ;;" with "i686) _arch=x86 ; _sfix=x86 ;;" - Some files in /usr/share/games/bastion/Content/720p/ are only readable by root, so the game shows and error on start up. Same problem with the installer. - The package doesn't install a .desktop file.
