@RubenKelevra Why not contacting us and offer your solution? We are waiting for libadwaita so if you have a solution that doesn't plan to use libadwaita-git simply join us on GitHub.

@RubenKelevra in the meantime would you like to post your updated pkgbuild somewhere?

RubenKelevra commented on 2022-08-02 08:21 (UTC)

@yochananmarqos seriously, what's the matter? There are issues in this package and I like fix them.

@RubenKelevra: Gee, wonder why...

Orphan request was denied shrug

I fixed the package already and filed an orphan request, to take over the maintenance, as the PKGBUILD is fetching an older version which is not what the PKGBUILD version is claiming. Additionally, even the claimed version is older than the recently released one.

The latest one is working fine for me.

Lies in the pkgbuild. This needs to be fixed. Especially since it has a bug rendering it useless, and has since been fixed. The flathub version works for anyone who can't wait.

pkgver=2022.6.14
source=("${pkgname}-2022.5.28-trento-3.tar.gz::https://github.com/bottlesdevs/Bottles/archive/2022.5.28-trento-3.tar.gz")

I tried today and the libadwaita-git at the moment it doesn't works... I suggest, as now, if you wanted to build latest bottles, to try change this in /etc/makepkg.conf:

options([...] !check)

why package version says 2022.6.14 but source is hardcoded to 2022.5.28-trento-3 ?

Edited the PKGBuild to exclude wine and everything works. Wine should be an optional dependency.
