could you please remove the file /usr/lib/libudev.so.0 and use the package "libudev.so.0" instead?

Okay, i've modified the /usr/bin/chromium to include the CHROME_DEVEL_SANDBOX env and also changed the permissions of chrome and chrome_sandbox.
AlK commented on 2013-06-26 14:29 (UTC)
Since this[1] commit, the sandbox is required by default to run chromium. We could pass the --disable-setuid-sandbox flag to run it without sandbox (put it in the "/etc/chromium/default" file for example) but it is a major security risk as the sandbox is a feature to prevent the chrome process to communicate with other processes.
The solution to launch chromium with a sandbox is to compile it with -Dlinux_sandbox_path=/path/to/sandbox
The precompiled version does not have a path defined because it is a build targeted for chromium devs. (Note: a sandbox path could be defined with the environment variable CHROME_DEVEL_SANDBOX if and only if the owner of the "chromium" binary is the current user)

I've updated the PKGBUILD to retrieve the last working revision (208132) until the issue is fixed.

I get the same issue I believe that it's an issue with the chromium binary and not the aur package.
In the meantime you can just use and older version, I think I use _pkgver=208101

oops, i get
[32179:32179:0624/232822:FATAL:browser_main_loop.cc(141)] Running without the SUID sandbox! See https://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxSUIDSandboxDevelopment for more information on developing with the sandbox on.
[1] 32179 abort (core dumped) chromium
anyways to fix it?

I really don't like this change. As a web developer, I like to have both chromium stable and nightly installed side by side. With the old PKGBUILD, I had the "chromium" binary for the stable release, and the "chromium-browser" for the nightly. Now, both packages are conflicting.
I'd love to be able to use both versions, as I do with "firefox" and "firefox-nightly".

I've adpoted the package and synced it with the pacman 4.1 changes.
The package is now located in /usr/lib/chromium instead od /opt/chromium-browser to be more in sync with chromium from [extra].
The default file is located in /etc/chromium/default.

Since pacman 4.1 I needed the following changes to build successfully http://pastie.org/7328250
Without these changes i get the following warning
==> WARNING: Using a PKGBUILD without a package() function is deprecated.
and the following error
