I'm getting the following error: File "/usr/lib/cups/filter/cmdtocanonij3" not available: No such file or directory
It's caused because a new part of the upstream isn't included in the package, and it's resolved by adding cmdtocanonij3 equivalents to each occurrence of cmdtocanonij2, as in the following PKGBUILD update: https://ncry.pt/p/VKNn#zO936MpTjbqtBSPIKJzcNPI06ngMhqbOssEBOnwyJ0w

Let me see if the new version works with my printer. If it doesn't I'll pass ownership to whoever needs the current driver.
Appears to work fine with the Canon PIXMA G4200 inktank printer. Installed package, start CUPS, add printer from http://localhost:631/

Just a kindly reminder (because I forgot) that to have the scanner working you probably should use avahi:

There are other methods but this is the easiest one.
