Please do not flag this package out-of-date! That version is the version of this AUR, not that of deno :)

This AUR just acts as a startup, which gives you freedom to manage deno.

deno-init is NOT the same as deno-bin. I know deno-bin. I have ever used that AUR. And it is a reason I created this AUR (as I mention below).

The reasons why I created this AUR are:

  1. I found the official deno package is poorly maintained
  2. There is some inconveniences to update an AUR, which is not as clean as just deno upgrade

(On a second thought, if the package managed by pacman were good, the life could be much simpler. We either didn't need these alternative AURs to begin with XD)

No, deno-init is NOT exactly the same as deno-bin. deno-bin's version gets updated alongside deno, while this won't.

Hello, this seems to be a duplicate of https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/deno-bin, any reason for this?
