Since running the latest updates my docking station Dell 3100 is no longer putting through the HDMI signal. At least I can't get an input from my monitor.

The following files were updated: linux-header to 4.15.1-2 libxrandr (1.5.1-1 -> 1.5.1-2)

could it be that evdi-git has a problem with the latest linux--headers / kernel?

@zaibon: Thanks, I was on vacation and hadn't realized that the package got updated. Feedback for your commit: Your commit shows a lot of added and removed new lines so I'm thinking you are commiting Windows like line feeds instead of Unix like. The .srcinfo should be automatically generated by mksrcinfo and the release-notes are straight from the displaylink webpage.

It is my first time creating aur package, so feel free to tell me if something is wrong or missing.

@jfk install evdi-git or evdi-pre-release, evdi package is not updated.

@PlusMinus I also have dual USB 3.0 displaylink monitors, but I'm also having problems with only one of them displaying. Do we know if mesa is reviewing this; it seems several months have now passed.

It's working after years of waiting for using my USB3 AOC screen on my Arch system, until now only able to connect to Window$. Great! Only problem is the flickering of the cursor, on both screens, when watching videos. No flickering when what's displayed is static.

@dirschn I am using a display attached via usb, on arch linux kernel 4.13.8, lenovo T430 thinkpad. I experience similar screen/system freeze issue for the last 4-5 months. As I plug-in my external usb monitor, it detects and works fine. Until I hover my mouse over the XFCE menu, or press Alt-F2 to start an application, as the mouse cursor icon changes to "waiting" symbol, systems freezes. I have to reboot. I was able to resolve the issue two weeks ago, and it started to work fine until the latest kernel update, broke it again. EDIT: Today, the monitor does not get switched on. So the issue is now even deeper. Is anyone else having the issue where the displaylink monitor will turn on, but after a couple minutes the whole system will freeze? It was happening on an old install of Arch, and persists after a fresh install, and happens with both evdi-pre-release and evdi-git.
