Instead of manually toggling ptrace_scope on a global level, as suggested by wookietreiber, the package should probably give ptrace-capability to Dwarftherapist locally, by including a hook which does: > setcap cap_sys_ptrace=eip /usr/bin/dwarftherapist

FYI: Just had trouble getting dwarf therapist to work and after a while of searching the web found out why. To save you the trouble I put the solution in a new dwarf fortress Wiki page: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dwarf_Fortress

Use qmake-qt4 rather than qmake4 please
