@dreieck: I've just tried installing intel-compiler-base 2013.14.0.0.080-1 from aur/intel-parallel-studio-xe, and it doesn't prevent building dynamips. Can you please show me your compiler/linker flags from your /etc/makepkg.conf?

Conflicts with "intel-compiler-base": ===> patching file Makefile make -C stable make[1]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-dynamips/src/dynamips-0.2.10/stable' Linking rom2c /opt/intel/composerxe/mkl/include: file not recognized: Is a directory collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [rom2c] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-dynamips/src/dynamips-0.2.10/stable' make: *** [dynamips.stable] Error 2 <===

Three comments/requests: * Please add the package "intel-compiler-base" to the "conflicts"-array due to the following conflict: ===> make -C stable make[1]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-dynamips-community/src/dynamips-0.2.10/stable' Linking rom2c /opt/intel/composerxe/mkl/include: file not recognized: Is a directory collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [rom2c] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/yaourt-tmp-root/aur-dynamips-community/src/dynamips-0.2.10/stable' make: *** [dynamips.stable] Error 2 <=== * here is an error "make: arch: Command not found" the command "arch" seemed to be in the package "util-linux", but appears to be not anymore. It helps to create /usr/local/bin/arch and making it executable, with the content == /usr/local/bin/arch ==> #!/bin/sh uname -m "$@" <=== * Please include the package "gcc-multilib" in case we have "${CARCH}"=="x86_64" in the makedepends.

Hello, package doesn't compile for me (x86_64, latest updates installed as of 2013-09-18) Here is log from my shell: http://pastebin.com/mka6heb0 And here are some package versions: http://pastebin.com/B2bumXP4 I fixed problem by replacing gcc with gcc-multilib. Maybe this is worth mentioning somewhere in PKGBUILD. ;-)
