Language detection

The PKGBUILD tries to infer the langauge from the LANG environment variable. If it starts with de, it will use German, otherwise English. This should be sane in most cases, as long as you build with your regular user account in the correct locale.

To override this, export the environment variable ECODMS_LANG to select a non-default value prior to building the package. Supported languages by EcoDMS: en, de

This can always be changed after package installation by updating the symlink at /opt/ecodms/ecodmsclient/language.qm.

@ulistermclane I created the 18.09 package, because there was no working package avilable before. I am currenly a bit busy to create a 21.03 package. First come, first served. :-)

Hello, after the ecodms docker container is installed I get the following error message when starting ecodms: * Starting domain name service... bind9 ...done.

No data dir mounted, please mount external dir to /srv/data How do I mount the /srv/data folder?

@Noob I see a tab "linux" on the top of the page. There you can download a Debian and a Ubuntu version. There is also a docker version available. See https://hub.docker.com/u/ecodms

@cmuench Thank you, but a download from the site is not provided for Linux, only the Windows version is available for download. Is it possible to download the server application from another site? Thanks

@nima OneClick Backup ist part of the server. That's only the client package here.
