on 2 different machines with KDE it shows errors Icon theme "ubuntu-mono-dark" not found. Icon theme "Mint-X" not found. Icon theme "elementary" not found. Icon theme "gnome" not found. but all works great. to remedy it, after each update I need to type in sudo sed -i.orig '/Inherits/ s/(ubuntu-mono-dark|gnome|Mint-X|elementary),?//g' /usr/share/icons/{ePapirus,Papirus,Papirus-Light,Papirus-Dark}/index.theme which is a pain in the butt. papirus devs don't wan't to do it on their end. can patch be included in the PKGBUILD?

@somepaulo Ah, that sounds correct. I've reverted the infinality patches a week ago or so, so that's why I wasn't having any problems. Thanks for the feedback!

@edgard Fixed it! In case anyone's having issues with icons not loading, check if you're running infinality patched cairo, freetype2 and fontconfig. If you are, revert to official packages. All infinality patches have been merged upstream, and infinality is now broken and deprecated.

@doskoi thanks, using it now!

There is a new Makefile. You can replace the content of the package() function by this: make DESTDIR="$pkgdir" install

@edgard Weird, must be a conflict with something else. Cleared icon caches, uninstalled, rebooted, installed again - nothing, just Gnome (not even Adwaita), as specified in the fallback section of icon.theme Installed Paper icon theme just to check. Changed icons in Tweak Tool to Paper and they changed instantly. Switched to Papirus (all 4 of them) - nothing. Installed papirus-icons-git package - same thing, Gnome icons. Even weirder...

@somepaulo havent noticed anything out of the extraordinary, try updating your icon cache manually to see if it fix it: sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -q /usr/share/icons/ePapirus sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -q /usr/share/icons/Papirus sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -q /usr/share/icons/Papirus-Dark sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -q /usr/share/icons/Papirus-Light

Gnome 3.22 shows Gnome icons instead of Papirus after latest update. No configuration changes were made, just the update. Any clues to what might be wrong?

I've added the additional themes, thanks!

The PKGBUILD only copy Papirus and Papirus-Dark subdirs, but now there is also Papirus-Light and ePapirus: https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-icon-theme/blob/master/install-papirus-root.sh
