@TechXero: Just check yochananmarqos response on falcond. I won't change it here.

Besides, falcond runs fine without those changes as long as it can read the conf files in /usr/share/falcond/profiles/user/. The only thing you need those changes for is to use falcond-gui and to be able to edit the files manually without needing root access.

@mineinmonkey But Ferreo and Cosmo are the creators of the package so either follow the right way or remove it from the AUR don't offer a broken one. Coz as it is will never work. Will be stuck in a permission loop.

I don't think so. Should create this directory with said permissions it's related to profiles not GUI

AUR packaging is missing creating the dir and group.

@TechXero: This package doesn't include a user folder by default. I think this comment would be better placed at falcond-gui since I assume that's what you're having problems with.

Hey I talked to Ferreo there's a problem with package here's what was said

Permissions:
Set ownership of /usr/share/falcond/profiles/user to root:falcond.
Set directory permissions to 2775 (drwxrwsr-x). This ensures:
Group members (users in falcond) can read, write, and execute (enter).
The setgid bit (s) ensures new files created in this directory inherit the falcond group ownership.

@mineinmonkey: There is no release tagged, please don't invent a pkgver. Generate one based on a static commit, not a moving target. I've now added facond-profiles-git.
