@cheeseypi : Sorry, can't reproduce. The errors look really weird, though - Arch doesn't have x86_64-linux-gnu subfolders in its /usr/lib. Something like that is done by Debian AFAIR, so perhaps the configure script somehow was led into thinking it's running on Debian? Or maybe a third-party package modified some pkg-config files which describe the build flags and library files used by ImageMagick? I really have no idea.

Getting error on build:

/usr/bin/grep: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libMagickCore-6.Q16.la: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libMagickCore-6.Q16.la: No such file or directory

libtool: error: '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libMagickCore-6.Q16.la' is not a valid libtool archive

What can I do to fix this? Is there an unlisted dependency or something? I have extra/libmagick6 and extra/libmagick installed.

UPDATE May 3rd: I was able to "solve" this issue by building the package in a docker container and installing the result. Still don't know what went wrong.
