The crash happens on windows too, gedehari found a workaround, you can find it at https://github.com/ninjamuffin99/Funkin/issues/146#issuecomment-753986540 so no, nothing to do with newgrounds package

And that's because the newgrounds package was updated and the old version that I was forced to use because of another bug no longer works. Like I said i'll update it in a bit

Running it in debug mode gives me a more detailed error

The game seems to crash at the "Association with NEWGROUNDS" screen

Yeah, the repo used to not require that file but was recently changed. I'll get around to updating the pkgbuild in a bit

Nevermind, just looked in the repo, there's a file called "APIStuff.hx" needed in /source folder, as stated here https://github.com/ninjamuffin99/Funkin#ignored-files
