Hi all,

I've just pushed a commit which bumps this version to 1.0.6a which is the latest release.

@EdeWolf -- interesting idea, but not something I think is going to be required, but thanks for the suggestion.

@norse -- I'll investigate this and get back to you.

@FabioLolix -- I'll investigate this and get back to you.

Thanks everyone for your patience.

Consider xorg-mkfontscale and xorg-font-util as optional dependencies https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=302489 (possibly related to xorg fonts only?)

Hi all,

I've just updated this package for the 1.1.1 release. Apologies it's taken a while.

I've also changed the packaging to use meson as well.

Any issues let me know -- hopefully there won't be any!

The arch4edu repository now starts to provide the prebuilt binaries of fvwm3 for both x86_64 and aarch64.

Please note that none of optdepends is installed during the build unless it's included in makedepends.

@parszab it have a makedepends on asciidoctor which depends on ruby

Why does this package install a bunch of ruby stuff?

@Thomas Not wanting to sound demanding, just an idea: Maybe an own, inofficial repo with prebuid binaries would be a viable alternative? Just in case things are going to linger a little longer here?

I would not mind finding it here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unofficial_user_repositories That of course is not to suggest that I am waiting for fvwm3 on arch as well..

Hi,

Is this being picked up by @SolarAquarion does anyone know? If not, I'm happy to do so.

Build in clean chroot fail for missing libpng libxft, haven't tested if the other optdepends need to be present at build time. You're welcome to build in a clean chroot before uploading to ensuring needed depends and makedepends are met, for convenience using extra-x86_64-build from devtools package https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot , extra-x86_64-build also analyze the pkgbuild and builded package with namcap
