Hi! I'm the maintainer for the gazebo package. I've just pushed changes for v11.10.2 and it seems to work for me. I suspect the changes I've made should fix your issues too.
On another note, @acxz has helpfully started a GitHub repo for all the Gazebo-related PKGBUILDs (i.e. including all the ignition dependencies) so we can coordinate our efforts. I'm sure he'd be happy to send an invite if you'd like to maintain your PKGBUILD there :-).

I'm going to be cautious about temperature then. I didn't have time to test the computer too much yet, just installing software. It's an AIO HP 200 G3, CPU Intel Core i3-8130U, GPU Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8GB RAM

That makes sense less to render. Just curious bout ur setup. Is your work computer a laptop? Also what kind of gpu is in your computer?
I would try messing around with your computer's fan if you're having performance problems. On my laptop I manually set my fan cuz when I run gazebo my laptop gets very hot.

Tested with DRI_PRIME=1 but didn't help. However, I found that setting shadows off in Scene makes it look good again.

No problem. Yeah I'm not sure about what's up with gnome on manjaro. I normally use sway. I installed gnome today to see if there's a problem with gazebo and it actually works fine on my machine.
Glad you could fine something that works though. On my machine I usually use gazebo with DRI_PRIME=1 to use with the graphics card. Have you tried that?
DRI_PRIME=1 QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb gazebo

Thank you @bobosito for helping. As the issue is on my work's computer, I couldn't test your suggestions and reply before. I couldn't make it work on GNOME, not even with X11 or the xwayland workaround. I then tried installing it on a live Manjaro KDE Plasma and worked fine, both on X11 and wayland (with xwayland workaround). So I just didn't bother with GNOME anymore and did a fresh install of PLASMA. It works fine, although the 3D rendering looks quite dull, probably due to graphics cards or something. I don't know what could've been the issue on Manjaro GNOME though. Thank you again

Hi @hazard94. It's no problem. I just updated my arch system, recompiled gazebo, and reinstalled it.
I'm unable to replicate your problem on arch. It might be an issue with the gazebo dependency versions in manjaro. I would suggest looking at this thread to see if it has any enlightening information for your manjaro problem. It's not gazebo related but it is the same error message.

This is kind of a shot in the dark, but have you tried the workaround for xwayland?

Tried installing both the gazebo-git and gazebo packages with the work around for ffmpeg but I still can't make Gazebo run. Program compiles with the work around but complains when starting gzclient. gzserver seems to works fine.
This line is shown 3 times on terminal (when running with --verbose) and then the process dies:
(process:98978): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 17:57:51.877: _gtk_style_provider_private_get_settings: assertion 'GTK_IS_STYLE_PROVIDER_PRIVATE (provider)' failed
I'm running a newly installed GNOME Manjaro Linux. I tried also running GNOME on Xorg with no luck. I can't find anything helpful online. Thanks for helping

Thanks for letting me know. I've removed the patches from the pkgbuild. Let me know if there are any issues.
