@drakkan Might consider using epoch=1

epoch: "Used to force the package to be seen as newer than any previous version with a lower epoch."

@malacology I switched back to the main branch now that gnome 40 support is merged. You can uninstall your local version and reinstall or wait for the next upstream tag

malacology commented on 2021-10-05 16:46 (UTC)

 -> gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-dock: local (69+525+ge4beec8-1) is newer than AUR (69+118+g9605dd6-1)

@afoutopatisa, the package is update the latest commit is this one. Am I missing something? We are following the ewlsh branch and will continue to do so until is merged, then we return to the stable version

Flagged out of date.

..Can't we just follow the master branch of ewlsh??? It's more up-to-date anyway.

I guess upstream force pushed again, as the e98f6b3ced53 PKGBUILD leads to: fatal: reference is not a tree: fd14b3190ee091a7ccb22e858578e2ee0b4f9c9e

@drakkan done :)

drakkan commented on 2021-06-28 17:47 (UTC)

@loulou921222 I can reproduce the dots issue. I don't use any other extensions myself so I can't reproduce the other issue.

Please report any issue here

https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/pull/1402

This PKGBUILD uses the latest version from that branch

The latest version of this is completely broken for me, like 10 or so dots show up under a running application with multiple windows (there's usually a cap at 4 dots), I can't select which window of the multiple windows of a running application, and it interferes with my other extensions (hidetopbar, there is no animation and the topbar keeps completely disapearing)
