Would you please consider adding installation of the gschema to this package as well? It's important so that we can use the gsettings CLI tool to get/set properties programatically.

Please consider changing

provides=("system-monitor-applet gnome-shell-system-monitor-applet-git")

to

provides=("system-monitor-applet" "gnome-shell-system-monitor-applet-git")

so that it builds on pacman 5.1.0.

Can you use git+https:// for the protocol instead of just git:// ? It's much more compatible with restricted networks like mine. Thanks.

There is another AUR package providing the same extension: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnome-shell-system-monitor-applet-git/ I didn't find it first because the name doesn't start with "gnome-shell-extension-". The other package provides the upstream PKGBUILD, which is better, because your PKBGUILD installs the README file and other unwanted files. Maybe you can discuss with the other maintainer.

There is another AUR package providing the same extension: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnome-shell-extension-system-monitor-git/ I think they have a better name, so you can search the AUR for packages starting by "gnome-shell-extension-*". Maybe you can discuss with the other maintainer.
