Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

Det: You are right, I'm terribly sorry: CARCH="x86_64".

Det commented on 2014-04-29 19:19 (UTC)

$ grep CARCH /etc/makepkg.conf? Are you using some non-standard makepkg?

I downloaded google-earth 7.1.2.2041-2 from AUR and when I try to install it, I can't because these dependencies are missing: ld-lsb>=3-5 lib32-fontconfig lib32-glu lib32-libgl lib32-libsm lib32-libxrender lib32-mesa I'm not running 64-bits, I'm on 686. I'm posting here coming from here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1410296#p1410296

You shouldn't even talk about it as "reimplementing" it, because it's such a simple change. I'll get to it later today.

sorry about that click, it was accidental. are you reimplementing the attempted fix?

Det commented on 2014-04-29 16:18 (UTC)

It's not bloody out-of-date..

Det commented on 2014-04-29 14:25 (UTC)

I'll hit the gym first? It's a matter of adding just a few lines anyway.

fanisg commented on 2014-04-29 14:23 (UTC)

pretty please implement again the attempted fix flag!!!! the good news is that google-earth out of the box with this update works better than ever. The bad news is that I can not see any panoramio picture (but everything else works fantastic). With the attempted fix the pictures were working. So I would really appreciate if you could reimpliment that attempted fix please (and I will report if it works again)
