Maybe. I used to have that as a flag, but replaced it with the _attempt_fix, which was supposed to let us keep the 64-bit version and even fix Panoramio.

This version crash for me on a 64 bits install. However the 32 bits version (as downloaded from Google) works fine with the appropriate multilib libraries installed. Does anyone have success with this version on a 64 bits archlinux? It might be worthwhile to package the 32 bits version even for machine running the 64 bits version of archlinux. I use a AMD graphic card (with the catalyst driver).

Well, at least then it doesn't crash.
If you already checked the thread links in the Wiki, then you're probably better off using google-earth6.

I'v installed the latest kernel and made a full update (main and AUR repo's).
GE is still running fine (except the panoramio, which only works for one picture, then displays blanks).
Any feedback from other user would be appreciated I suppose.
So to help further is there any output you could need.
I'm far from being a specialist, but is there any error messages on console on top of the ones I always got:
[0226/094014:ERROR:net_util.cc(2195)] Not implemented reached in bool net::HaveOnlyLoopbackAddresses()
[0226/094014:ERROR:nss_ocsp.cc(581)] No URLRequestContext for OCSP handler.

BTW - thanks to all who labor to allow others to use google-earth..!

I sort of wish that.
Thanks for your contribution so far.
E: By the way, Nvidia in [extra] still isn't updated to .49.

Of course all is relative :-)
Edit:
Package is running fine out of the box, after toggling the
"_attempt_fix" switch to 1.
Next step for me will be to upgrade the kernel and nvidia driver to be sure it's not comming from there.

From my point of view it's strange that for you it _does_ work.
Anyway, I've added the 'baifaao.so' workaround behind the "_attempt_fix" variable. I keep saying 'attempted fix' because for me it really does fix nothing.
Maybe you'll see something wrong in my procedure?

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.
For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to
