I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

Huh. And _with_ /etc/localtime? Does the previous one work? Did they used to? I was never meaning for you to post it in here, by the way :D.

About 70k - you looking for something specific?

And the full output? Of "LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/google/earth/free/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH strace /opt/google/earth/free/googleearth-bin" that is. There's also the previous one here for those unlucky ones who have no other choice: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/google-earth6/

Not for me. Removed 65-fonts-persian.conf - no change Tried the 'further debug' option and the last thing it did was open /etc/localtime then closed it then did gettimeofday({1359907137, 574974}, NULL) = 0 futex(0xb7726058, FUTEX_WAKE_PRIVATE, 2147483647) = 0 --- SIGSEGV {si_signo=SIGSEGV, si_code=SEGV_MAPERR, si_addr=0} ---

and me

me too

mrbit commented on 2013-02-01 15:49 (UTC)

For *ME* removing/renaming /etc/fonts/conf.d/65-fonts-persian.conf solved the crashes.

Just going out on a limb here but reading the instructions would probably help.
