Hamachi is not (yet) compatible with glibc 2.31 which why the daemon is crashing and you need to restart it.

A representative from LogMeIn has stated that an updated Hamachi version for Linux will be released within the next few weeks: https://community.logmein.com/t5/LogMeIn-Hamachi-Discussions/Hamachi-randomly-disconnects-on-Ubuntu-20-04/m-p/223809#M18605

In short, this problem has nothing to do with Haguichi itself.

I have the same problem as Darwerft and jamesjon

Any solution for this?

"darwerft: Haguichi asks for your user (not root) password when it needs to start or restart the hamachi daemon. So if this happens at random its a sign the hamachi daemon is constantly crashing on your system."

Running latest manjaro and it keeps asking for root password every 5 minutes on avg. at random intervals, sometimes not for an hour, sometimes every few minutes. It stops working until a root password is given then it resumes.

I know of other manjaro users with the same problem.

Otherwise the package works perfectly.

carstene1ns: No problem, I think I'll be able to handle this by now!

ztefn: I am handing over this package, simply not having the time currently to properly maintain it.

post_install() { Please run systemctl to start service sudo systemctl start logmein-hamachi.service }

If someone is still interested in GTK2 version of Haguichi (1.0.26), check this out: https://github.com/Fincer/linux-patches-and-scripts/tree/master/haguichi I still prefer simple GTK2 client over the GTK3 one, though the latter has quite nice features.

ztefn: I guess this seems a bit weird, but is intended. I adhere to the gnome package guidelines[1]. The commands are executed chrooted in the file system root /, so the relative paths are correct. carstene1ns: In the .install file all paths (to both icons and schema) start with "usr" instead of "/usr" (note the forward slash to start at root). $ sudo glib-compile-schemas usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas Error opening directory 'usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas': No such file or directory

benklett: strange, this should be done by pacman automatically (it is in the .install file). Did you update from a previous version of haguichi AUR package?

benklett commented on 2015-08-24 14:30 (UTC)

It works now. All I had to do, was manually call "sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas".

I am getting this error: (haguichi:5979): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.haguichi.behavior' is not installed [1] 5979 trace trap (core dumped) haguichi
