Can you please update the list of optional dependencies to reflect the opt-in features available (`ranger`, `tmux` etc) ?

BTW, I created this package to help promote Kakoune but I must say I don't really use it nor do I follow any upstream development. Would you like to adopt it?

Hmmm, I'm 95% sure. If you look at the makefile, debug flag changes the suffixes of the objects (".opt" for optimized and ".debug" for debug builds) which in turn creates the binary with the same name ("kak") in both cases. You can tell by the names of object files during compilation. Currently I'm seeing ".opt" files while building and ".debug" files while packaging. When I add "debug=no" to package as well, there are only ".opt" files while building and no further compilation while packaging.

Are you sure of that? The install target of the Makefile only copies files. I see no more or less files with "debug=no" added to both `make`. What is the expected result?

You need to add the `debug=no` to package as well, otherwise it builds and installs the debug build while packaging.
