@rock_jam: kdeconnect-git is using a KDE function that was added to KCMutils just 4 days ago by this commit: commits.kde.org/kcmutils/15408e74d633df4e505bd85bfdff6ee6ef6624c6 It would work if we could use kcmutils-git, but that one depends on kxmlgui-git which in turn brings most KDE-git as dependences. As for packaging, to be strict I think this package should depend on kcmutils-git instead of kcmutils, but as that means bringing in all of git KDE where in this case perhaps only a single function is needed. It might be possible to package a special patched version of kcmutils and make this package depend on that one. No guarantee it will work in the long run tho.

@aatmka update everything to 5.8, not just knotifications

I also tried it with knotifications-5.8 from testing but it gives the same error. The only thing I didn't try is to use the git version because it means that I'll have to install all KF5 packages from git with it.
