Will works better without < and > in the URL :
source=("https://download.kde.org/Attic/applications/${_kdeappver}/src/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.xz"

Source line should be the following.
source=("<https://download.kde.org/Attic/applications/>${_kdeappver}/src/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.xz"

Trizen claims this package is unmaintained. What to do? :|

Source URL does not seem to exist any more. Returns 404.
Edit: Source downloaded from here (https://github.com/KDE/kdelibs/archive/KDE/4.14.zip) can be used after adding a line in the PKGBUILD to rename the extracted directory.
