@oconnor663 I just did. Thanks!

@rican-linux: Would you please do a `keybase log send` on the command line, and then file a github issue at

In general, "app does not launch" isn't enough detail to tell what the problem is, and people will always ask you for logs or a specific error message when you file a report.

rican-linux commented on 2017-06-23 21:22

The app will not launch from kde. I did a fresh install of Arch, installed keybase-git. I readded my computer and revoked my old entry. However I still cannot get the app to launch.

@rican-linux thanks for reporting, fix is up at

Issue was resolved when yarn was upgrading to version 0.24.5

I got this error when trying to update to the latest build. I have created an issue upstream here:

@nyanloutre thanks, adding that back in now.

There is a missing build dependency : npm

02m commented on 2016-12-16 05:30

Yup. I ran `pacaur -S keybase-git`. I am running a custom kernel, but I doubt that would be a problem:

➜ ~ uname -a
Linux donata 4.8.12-1-nvme #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Dec 3 19:01:29 CET 2016 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Maybe that was a temporary hiccup. I have successfully installed your other package keybase-bin. So that will do for now. :)
