This package was orphaned so I decided to take it on as my first package after I saw it was not compiling. Turns out there is a fix, which I added to the PKGBUILD using sed to change a few lines in the source code as per this thread: https://lists.debian.org/debian-hams/2023/12/msg00050.html If you read the whole thing, the author wants to eventually merge this fix into the next version. Don't know when that will come so in the meantime this works.
