Well dkms is a good way to do it too ! From what I saw in your package it's nicely done. Honestly the build of this kernel package is 100% automated (until the patch fails to apply on a newer kernel version where I'll eventually need to dig into it) so there is not much time to save here for me. That being said thanks a lot for your suggestion.

I put together a DKMS version of this patch using the main kernel driver. It might save you time from having to release a new update in parallel with every Arch kernel update:
