libwnck3 is also needed, please add it as dependency Without it installed the applet is running, but does not work properly / shows some strange behaviour.

Please add python-gobject to dependencies. needed for 'import gi' ... ImportError: No module named 'gi'

robint99, with upgrade to 0.64.r0.ga340fd8-1 today, the issue resolved. Sorry for troubling and thank you for your care.

python /usr/lib/mate-applets/mate-dock-applet/dock_applet.py /usr/lib/python3.5/site-packages/gi/overrides/Gtk.py:50: RuntimeWarning: You have imported the Gtk 2.0 module. Because Gtk 2.0 was not designed for use with introspection some of the interfaces and API will fail. As such this is not supported by the pygobject development team and we encourage you to port your app to Gtk 3 or greater. PyGTK is the recomended python module to use with Gtk 2.0 warnings.warn(warn_msg, RuntimeWarning)

Could you run this command in a terminal: python /usr/lib/mate-applets/mate-dock-applet/dock_applet.py and let me know what, if any, error messages are displayed (the long warning about PyGTK being the recomended python module to use with Gtk 2.0 can be ignored). Thanks

When adding applet it's listed in dconf org.mate.panel objects but simply does not appear on the panel. No error messages. Version 0.64.r0.ga340fd8-1
