Building this package recently was producing git repo mismatch errors. Updating the PKGBUILD source to the following resolved the issue:

@evanpurkhiser: I asked for it to being able to enabling setcolors.service, but apparently this is not required anymore. sorry!! I was wrong. I misguided by this line of text in usage.install file:

If you're using systemd based initramfs, you have to use the sd-colors hook and enable the systemd service:
systemctl enable setcolors.service

Had to set my adjust the PKGBUILD to have the files inserted into the /etc/ folder like it said to do in the GitHub repo in order to get this to work for me.

But ya it's pretty neat.

NOTE: This package does not work with a systemd based initramfs!

I had to discover this the hard way.

If you're still interested in this package, but want to keep using systemd, please see my pull request on the source repository, which mentions every change needed, in order for this to work with systemd:

Upstream url is wrong, has extra "-git" at the end.
